Born in Coastal Victoria, Australia, Natalie J. Russell has always had a keen interest in the arts, particularly performing arts and photography.
Having studied photography throughout secondary school, Natalie lived in the USA before completing a two year Diploma of Visual Arts in 2004, where she majored in Photgraphy and minored in Painting and Print Making.
It was whilst undertaking a Diploma of Arts (Photography) in 2005 that she visited India for the first time, drawing inspiration from the many faces and unique culture.
Awarded the Ella McDonald Fine Art Scholarship, Natalie completed her Diploma of Arts (Photography) in Melbourne in 2006, and plans to put her photographic skills to work, focusing on both commercial and photo-journalistic facets of the art and producing meaningful and environmentally sensitive works.
